Important things about Pre enrolment 2024 | FAQs

In the second blog that I posted, I explained to you when to do pre-enrolment and whatever questions were related to it were explained in the comment section of these two blogs. I saw that there were so many questions that I felt that a blog should be made on this.

I have noted down some of the questions that I have, so today I will answer them in this blog.

Important Questions

The first and most important question that I saw was that I had not uploaded the admission letter in the blog, so some people were saying that if you do not upload the admission letter, then your pre-enrolment will be rejected.

From last year, which is going to be almost 2 years, I had done pre-enrolment. At that time, I did not have the admission letter; otherwise, I had done pre-enrolment without the admission letter.

Last year, many people had done pre-enrolment by following the blog I had uploaded, and today they are sitting in Italy.

If I did not upload it, it does not mean that I am fine; maybe I should have done it.

In short, if you have an admission letter, then upload it. If you do not have an admission letter, like some universities do not give an admission letter, they just email that your admission is done, then you can take a screenshot of it and upload it. If not, then just do pre-enrolment.

Can I Pre-Enrol Without My Degree?

If I am in my seventh and eighth semester, the first thing I will explain is that if your degree has not come till now, your degree has been completed late, and your bachelor’s has been completed but there are still two or three months for your degree to come and you have applied for admission on a Hope Certificate, your admission has been done, then you can absolutely pre-enrol.

You can do it, but after pre-enrolment, you just have to upload the Hope Certificate instead of the degree. If you have transcripts, then upload the transcripts.

When you apply for the visa, you should have original degrees and transcripts. If you are thinking that I will apply for my visa based on the Hope Certificate, then that is not so. You should have original degrees and transcripts.

If you are in the seventh or eighth semester, you applied for admission on a Hope Certificate, and your admission is done, then consider the scenario that the visa applications start in June or July and continue until a maximum of September.

If you get your degrees or transcripts during this period, then you can apply for a visa. If you do not get your degrees and transcripts during this duration, if you get them in March or April next year or in February, then according to my opinion and previous experience, it would be too late, and then you cannot apply for a visa.

Can I Pre-Enrol Without Admission?

If you do not have admission, then you can do pre-enrolment. This means that tomorrow you have to go to the Embassy or Consulate and submit your visa file. If you do pre-enrolment, then one summary comes to you, and the second summary goes to the Embassy or Consulate.

After being forwarded, this means that you will file a visa. There are some universities where you do not need to apply for admission; you just go to the university portal, apply there, and from there you also get admission. Your summary also gets forwarded.

Don’t ask me which are those universities because I don’t know them myself; there are only a few universities.

Can We Pre-Enrol Without SEMIA?

If you don’t have SEMIA, you can still do pre-enrolment. Whatever is the limit at the time of pre-enrolment, you do not need the limit. If you do not have the limit, then you can do pre-enrolment.

However, there are some universities that require you to have SEMIA or DV at the time of admission. In such a situation, it becomes mandatory for you to get SEMIA or DV done. DV is not made for you because it is made at the time of the visa only.

You go to the embassy and submit the OV documents along with your visa documents. Then you get the SEMIA done, and after getting the SEMIA done, your admission comes, and at the time of pre-enrolment, you upload the admission letter.

Yes, you can do pre-enrolment without CIA.

How Many Universities Can I Pre-Enrol In?

If you have applied for admission to 15 universities, out of which you got rejection in 10 and admission in five, you cannot do pre-enrolment in all five.

Out of those five, you can see whatever is your curriculum or whatever is your interest. Choose one among those two which you feel is the best for you.

Once you finalize a university, then you do pre-enrolment in that university. When you do pre-enrolment, it asks you for your university, and you have to mention it there.

The pre-enrolment that is done is for any one university. Many students who had done pre-enrolment last year (2023) have had their visa rejected.

When they go to the university portal to do pre-enrolment, it is written that your summary has been forwarded. For the new year, when you do pre-enrolment, you do not have the option there.

In such a situation, look for the Contact and Support option where you can directly message them about your previous pre-enrolment and request to cancel it or open the portal again for you. You can also discuss with the coordinator where you have got admission, and they will help you more.

Document Attestation

It has been a week since pre-enrolment has started, and there are many people who have not got admission yet. They want to do pre-enrolment as soon as possible. However, without admission, pre-enrolment cannot be done.

As for the deadline for pre-enrolment, I had mentioned that right now, pre-enrolment is for 2024. Even a day before the enrollment portal was opened, the pre-enrolment portal for 2023 was opened.

This means that the pre-enrolment portal remains open for the whole year and then gets closed for a short time. Now, the pre-enrolment portal for 2024 is open and will continue until March, February, or April of next year.

Then a time will come that from there onwards, it will start for 2025.

Final Thoughts

Try to do the pre-enrolment as soon as possible because this whole process runs in a sequence. First, your admission; the sooner the admission is done, the sooner the pre-enrolment.

The sooner the pre-enrolment is done, the sooner the summary gets forwarded. If it gets forwarded, whatever tension you have will reduce, and then you can prepare visa documents and scholarship documents.

If your document is not attested or verified yet, then you can do pre-enrolment, but after this, if you do not have much time, I would recommend that you start the attestation and verification of your documents as soon as possible.

I know where to get the documents attested. The matriculation board and the intermediate board attest both of your documents, and then you have to take them to IBCC.

When you get it verified from IBCC, your bachelor’s degree and transcript should be done from HEC. After getting it done from HEC, take all the documents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, and from there, you will get it finally attested or verified.
