Complete list of documents 2024-2025 | Study in Italy

My university opens in January, which means admissions have started in some universities, and from mid-January, other universities will also open, so you should start applying.

Important Dates

One more thing: by mid-January, if you give IELTS, it will be good for you. It will mean that your chances of admission will increase, and you can apply to the maximum number of universities.

Passport Requirement

When you apply for admission, it is mandatory for you to have a passport. There are many people who say they do not have a passport right now, but when it’s time for the visa, they will apply for a passport. If it is wrong, then today, when you are applying for admission, you should have a passport.

Applying for Italian Universities

To apply to Italian universities for Master’s and Bachelor’s, you need to have the knowledge of any professor. There is no need to approach any admission institute; you can simply go to their website, see your program, put in your details, and apply for admission.

Important Documents

Now let’s talk about the important documents you need. The first thing is your Europass CV. What is a Europass CV? It is a simple CV made in the Europass format. If you are applying in any European country, then the CV you have is a Europass CV. You just have to put in very simple details. Headings will be made, and at the end, you will select the template and style of your choice, and your CV will be ready.

The second thing is your letter of motivation. In the letter of motivation, you have to tell a little about what you have done and what you want to do. You can write the letter of motivation very easily.

There are many videos on YouTube that can help you with this. The third thing is the course content, which you can read on the website of HEC. For Pakistanis, I am telling you to go to the website of HEC, write what you studied in your Bachelor’s, and then write the course contents, whether it is of Bachelor’s or Master’s. You can crop it and extract your own.

Last year, I told that the course contents I had written for Physics was simply Google 3 of 40 pages, so you can also take it that way. Each topic is written so that the university in which you are applying for admission gets an idea of what the person has studied.

Recommendation Letters

After that, you need two recommendation letters. These letters can be from whichever university you did your Bachelor’s from, any two professors or assistant professors. Then you will need your Bachelor’s transcript and degree. All these documents should be verified. If you are applying for admission and your documents are not verified, that’s fine, but if you want to get it done, it is better to do so now. If you don’t have it now, you can apply for admission and get it verified later.

Private Courses

Many people ask what to do if they have done a private 2-year course or a 3-year course. There are people who have done a 2-year BA private; then what about a 2-year MA private? My own case is a 3rd degree degree: that is, 3-year bachelor’s and 1-year master’s. It is counted among Bachelors, so it is included in this.

If you get the documents verified, then both the degrees and transcripts will be verified. If you are applying on the university portal, you can create a single PDF of both documents. You will upload it after doing that.

IELTS Requirement

The most important thing: I told you earlier that if you do IELTS, your chances will increase. If you don’t do IELTS, your chances will reduce. If you want IELTS for your visa, that’s true, but it’s better to give your IELTS at the time of admission to increase your chances.

There are some universities where you can apply without IELTS. If you do not have IELTS, you can apply with an English Proficiency Certificate. Some universities accept applications without any fees, so submit your application there. Later, you can give the fees for your visa.

Application Fee

The last thing is the application fee. Many universities are free, and in some universities, some courses are free. For some courses, you cannot submit your application without paying the application fee. If there is any university that is free, then first try beyond that. If not, look for the universities that have fees.

If you are in your country—Pakistan, India, Nepal, or anywhere else—you should turn on the international transactions of your bank. You can do international transactions to pay fees. In Pakistan, I have an account in many banks; if you have an account anywhere, you can call your bank’s call center and ask them to switch on international transactions.

Many students contact me saying their fees are not being paid. If you have to pay fees of Rs 10,000, it may mean they detect Rs 13,000-14,000 because of tax.

If there is money in your account and you have any difficulty paying the fees, remember me. See you in the next blog.
